Tune sky remote to Alba Television ?

Have just bought an Alba L42M1 Television and cant find code to retune Sky remote. Have been onto sky and they do not have a code for it ?

Can anyone advise ?

Try some Bush or Goodman codes, they are all the same company.

It may well be that Sky have not included your model in their lists yet, it it is a new TV.

Forget that code guessing rubbish and follow these instructions to programme any Sky remote with any TV including the obscure ones without listed codes.

Remove batteries from remote for 10 minutes to allow the remote to reset.
Replace batteries and with the TV switched on cover the front of the sky remote and press TV.
Uncover then press select and red together until the remote blinks twice.
Alternate pressing the TV and Standby buttons whilst pointing the remote at the TV until the TV turns off.
Once the TV turns off press select to store that frequency. Job done.

It may take quite a few minutes when pressing the TV and standby buttons until your TV turns off but be patient as this is the engineers method of carrying out the manual remote frequency scan and works on nearly all models.

Hope this helps all people struggling with remote compatibility problems.
