Egg - Not settling even after FOS intervention

Hi guys

After Egg refusing my claim on ppi on a credit card I took it to the FOS who upheld in my favour and sent a settlement form which I duly completed and sent back.

Then a letter from Egg arrives saying that they have looked to calculate any refund due and it is not their policy to refund any ppi payments before 6 years therefore as my ppi payments were between 2001 and 2002 they will not refund anything!

I know that there is not a time limit with the FOS as I have received payouts on loans going back as far as 1996!

I've sent FOS an email about this and am awaiting a reply - will let you know how I get on.

First of all well done.:beer:

I have heard many like this, although check your letter from the FOS on what they expect EGG to do, if the FOS have asked them to put this right from since you taken this out then should go along with this to what I know of.
