Hoping to be able to cope finacially

Looking for some advice about housing and coping financially.
Had a quick scoot about the forums but can't see much relating to my predicament and also I'm not sure if living in Scotland affects this differently, so any help appreciated.

OH and I want to move in together.
I'm worried that my salary (£1166 after tax) will have to keep us both, some months I struggle to keep myself on it, although getting much better these days.
I have not looked into it officially yet
We are having a little trial run to see if we can both live off my wage atm.
Doing ok so far, but would like to know how OH's DLA money will fit into the equation (not sure about the care component but i know it's HRM) and also if any other benefits will be involved.
I'll post more info about what he recieves when I confirm it with him.
I know it sounds silly but I hate prying into other people finances, I've never had a need to know about his money until now.

Cheers you guys, much appreciated.

His DLA won't be affected by your income but any means tested benefits will be. Do you know what other benefits he claims?

Cheers for your help. I'll give him a ring tonight and find out about any other benefits, probabaly will be others but will perhaps relate to him living as a single person.
