Wormery - Brighton & Hove

I took delivery of my new wormery on Tuesday, so its only been set up for a few days. I checked on them just now and the coir is drying out- should I add more water? I have loads of damp newspaper on top, but I keep the wormery (for now) in the kitchen so I'm assuming the heating is making it dry out.
Also another thing - I didn't get very many worms with mine
I weighed the little bag and it was 460g including the bedding. Should I buy more? Is that going to be enough?
Thank you!July Win: Nokia 58000 -
The bedding should be damp not wet and certainly not dry.
As regards the worms, they self regulate their numbers but i would start it off with more than that. There is a seller on ebay called "thecompostadviceservice" that sells dendra worms for £7.70 inc post and there are others with similar pricing so worth a look if you want more.0 -
Thank you for your help. I'll get some more wrigglys and keep at eye on the 'dryness'.July Win: Nokia 58000
