Public liability insurance for wedding DJ

Hello, looking for some advice on this:

I'm getting married in a city hotel in april and my fiance and I have asked a friend who DJs at a local latin club to do our music. The hotel asks that anyone we hire in has public liability insurance. We have wedding insurance but this doesn't cover anyone but ourselves. The company the DJ works for has PL insurance but as we're asking him, not the Company, it doesn't cover him.

Does anyone know if you can get one off public liability for this sort of thing?

He can get annual p/l cover from Music Guard / Pavilion.

(It's cheaper with them to buy p/l if you also take out some equipment or record cover)
