Recommend a laptop?

Cheap and reliable is what I'm looking for. Full sized as I'll be typing a lot on it. It will be used for internet and wordprocessing mainly. I need to be able to attach a printer to it. I don't need to watch DVDs on it or play games.

I don't understand any of the spec details I'm looking at when I'm searching round so I don't know what's a good deal for me. :o

Anyone point me in the right direction, please? Can I do it for under £300?

Thank you in advance.
