Fridge freezer next to cooker

Thanks everyone, when my oven is on it doesnt get very hot, but Inever thought about the hobs. Im wondering now if I should but a piece of wood at the side of the F/F, to try help with insulation??

Hi elektra,
The kitchen fitter we use on a regular basis, informs me that under normal circumstances he would try and seperate the two, but when the layout demands them fitting next to each other it's not really an issue.
If it's a small kitchen as it may well be because you want to place them next to each other you're going to get warm air from the cooker into your fridge when you open the door anyway.
remember your fridge/freezer will generates a lot of heat anyway to keep the internal cool.
