Orijen Adult/Fish/Red - feeding guides and stockists?

Well - my dog who has NEVER eaten dry food alone eats Orijen.
I have tried so many different brands before that I never believed anything will actually appeal to her, ordered small, 400g each bags of Origen Adult, Origen Fish and Orijen Red and she is eating it... wawwwwwww, I am VERY impressed
According to Origen feeding guide:
http://www.orijenpetfoods.co.uk/acatalog/orijen_feeding_guide.pdf
.. Zara should eat about 325 gram per day which seems VERY little (she is 35kg)
Still, I believe they know what they are talking about so.. assuming the 325 gram per day, I need about 9-10kg per month for her.
Orijen comes in 2.5kg, 7.5 kg and 13.5 kg bags.
I do not want to get much more than 10kg per month. Storage/freshenss etc.
I am thinking of mixing the 3 flavours - right or wrong?
But I am having problems trying to find a place that has all 3 flavours in stock (2.5 and 7.5 kg bags) - everywhere I look one or the other are ouit of stock
I want to buy 7.5kg of Original Adult, 2.5 kg of Fish and 2.5 kg of Red - does anyone know any reasonable price stockist that actually has them in stock ready to order and at reasonable price with free delivery? Or am I asking for too much?
Quite a few come up in a search but they are either very expensive or do nto have it in stock...
Thanks

I don't know about the feeding guides but my rott boy who is still growing (about 7 stone just now) gets 2 cups or orijen twice a day and looks great on it. If he was losing weight I would increase it and if he was putting on weight I would decrease it.
The volume doesn't seem much but it works. He used to be on Beta and got 4 cups twice a day. There are less fillers in it so it works out betterIf you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I might be having a 'senior moment' but why do you want to mix the flavours? You will have to buy 12.5kg and have three bags open at once, surely it would be cheaper to buy one 13.5kg bag? Why not buy one or two 7.5kg bags and just have one open at a time? I have a large-ish bag of Orijen cat and it comes it a resealable zip-lock bag same as the small ones.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I get mine online from zooplus. Go through quidco for cash back.0

I'd just get the large bag of whatever suits and stick with that rather than mixing which might upset the dogs digestion. The small bags work out more expensive than the large sacks 2.5kg= 47p per 100g and 13.5kg = 35p per 100g. I wouldn't of thought the food would go bad within 6 weeks but if your concerned about freshness you can get food bins to store it in, the extra 3.5kg wouldn't take up much room.0

Ermmm - thanks everyone but I was not asking what bag to get (It is not about which bag works out cheaper (already done my maths) but I know how fussy Zaea is with food and I know that mixing flavours works better with her than 1 flavour alone) - I was asking where to get it?
Zooplus is out of stock (7.5kg bags) and I got fed up with Googling and clicking so thought somoene can direct me...
Thanks again0 -
Have you tried Petplanet? I also feed Orijen once a day to my 2 terriers and they get about 40gms between them (they have Naturediet for their other meal) - and I buy the 7kg bag which lasts ages. I have no problem with it keeping fresh - I use a large bag clip and keep it in a cool room.0

Thanks but Petplanet prices for Orijen are the same as their own website...0

Sorry - I picked up on the 'stock levels' rather than 'price' part of your original post. I think you may struggle to find a premium product such as Orijen at 'cheap' prices. If you do find it I'm sure we'll all be delighted to know.0

Oh - I did... but all were "out of stock" so wondering if thise lower price was real or just a.... marketing thingy0

I ordered Orijen puppy from a company called mumspets.co.uk last night. Their prices seem good to me and they have despatched my order today. I looked and they have the 7.5 orignal at £27.36, the 2.5 fish at £14.62 and the 2.5 red £16.99. Free delivery when you spend £50 or £4.99 otherwise.Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. Soreen Kierkegaard 1854.0
