Does this need reporting ??

I have checked my ebay account to find 2 of my items had questions,
getting all excited and slightly dreading another how much to italy question (the bloke sent 5) , I opened it to find it wasnt a question but a blatant ad for someones website.

now this really jarred me cos I felt it a bit of an intrusion, it wasnt even related to what I was selling and originated in China !!

Do i bother reporting them, have they done anything wrong ??

report them through the ebay system for sending you spam. Sellers should not send unsolicited mail to their customers..

Agree with above. I had a couple sent to me proporting to be exporters of telecommunication equipment when I sold some phones. Both senders were using accounts with a feedback of zero - which makes me think they had just registered the accounts to spam people.

I reported them to e bay on the QT. Don't tell them you're doing so, they could just get nasty ie bid for or buy your item then immediately leave you negative feedback. With a rating of 0 they have nothing to lose in doing so.
