HSBC free antivirus

As a HSBC customer I was delighted to read that I could get free antivirus software from McAfee but I have had nothing but trouble with it. My computer actually told me it had 2 viruses that needed cleaning, Explorer kept crashing and after a month it told me I wasn't fully protected to be on the internet unless I paid £30 to upgrade. I have since gone back to old faithfull Norton which luckilly still let me just upgrade. I don't know if I did it wrong but it was certainly a headache for me.

The first thing I did after I bought my Netbook was to uninstall the free McAfee anti-virus. Now happy with the ESET NOD32 security suite.

I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

Now happy with the ESET NOD32 security suite.

This I have used on several domain networks and it is certainly a reputable anti -virus/-malmare solution.

Microsoft Security Essentials, - free, works fine, good on resources, you don't need to pay anyone anything.
