MSE News: Final nail in PruHealth's free gym offer

Update: spoke to PruHealth to complain re this and they have said the reason their rates are higher than signing up yourself is that they have a monthly rolling contract with LA Fitness which costs more than if someone signs up on a 12 month deal; they supposedly tried to notify customers of the price increase (although I never received this).
Interestingly you can STILL get Vitality rewards as an independent member of LA Fitness without using Pru Health's membership scheme so I recommend any of you still paying Pru Health for LA Fitness to switch to paying LA Fitness directly & then registering your details with Pru Health to ensure your Vitality activity is recorded.0 -
Slightly off topic, but if you collect nectar points on fruits & veggie with Sainsburys and have registered with PruHealth, make sure you redeem them. Otherwise from what I see, they are just sitting there doing nothing (it is not automatically transferred to nectar):huh:0
