Warning Npower Boiler service
Booked a service for my boiler on the Npower website for the afternoon of the 15th of Jan (this showed as an available appointment); received a phone call saying they could not guarantee the afternoon so could someone be in all day.
Well today was service day and my hubby got the day of work to stay at home. It's now 5:30pm and Npower service guy is a no show. Found the contact number for the Npower team (lo-call number) and spoke to two different people to be told that the service guy was delayed on a job so would not be attending. I was then told the next available appointment is not until the the 21st of Jan. I asked why they could not fit me in the next day as surely my appointment would become priority; I also asked if they would be a guarantee that my appointment would not be cancelled next time..... Well, they can't give an earlier date, they can't give a guarantee and they can't even allocate me the first appointment of the day. So now we will have to now take another day off work and it could happen again.... JOKE!!!!

Well what make is your boiler? , If it is say a Vaillant boiler you are better off having it serviced by them not NPOWER, Why ? The service booked with Vaillant they turn up within the period requested . Yes it cost more but less stress . Excellent customer service also .0

Just bin them. Get someone else to do it.They are probably understaffed/overworked so what will that mean for the quality of your "service" if he/she finally arrives?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

As previous poster says get an independent GasSafe registered engineer to come and do the service. Ask friends, neighbours or relatives who they use to do their boiler.
As a small business I am sure that they will be able to offer a better service than Npower and charge less. If we say we are going to be at a customers house at 9.30 am we will be there and if for any reason we are going to be even 15 minutes late we ring the customer.0
