hi i,m thinking of changing my bank from hsbc to the natwest for no other reason than i am fed up of phoning hsbc and talking to alady in india that i can,t understand.natwest advertise that thier call centers are still here is this true and are thier any other banks that still have call centers in this country?

Natwest call centres are all in Britain - there are several around the country & you'll be put through to whichever centre has the next available operator so not always the nearest one to where you live - I did have a lady one day come into the branch to complain about the advert & the fact that the man she spoke to was definately from India (he'd given his name as per usual) - it turned out that she had been put through to the call centre based in the West Midlands!!0

First Direct definately UK no matter what time you call them. Lloyds TSB do have Indian call centres but have found that as long as you call the bank in the morning (UK) then you get through to a UK call centre0
