Just a quick question,

When you get a virgin phone do you get free virgin tv (m), which is basically freeview?

From website: Free Virgin TV Size: M

The website says that if you get the phone you get tv for free, but does this still apply when you get just a broadband and phone package?

I have freeview built into my tv already, but just wanted to know if I got virgin tv too?

Yes you can get free TV but you will be getting a phone from what is reckoned to be the most expensive phone service provider in the UK. 0845 calls can cost 20 times the amount BT would charge you, plus many others.

Thanks, I am only really getting it for the broadband, the phone shouldn't be used that much anyway.

If you sign up through https://www.quidco.com you can get £65 cash back in a couple of months (clear your cookies first or it may not track at all).
  • Hi,

    in my opinion, forget it.

The Virgin 'M' channel lineup basically the freeview lineup plus a couple of extra shopping channels and the 'At the races' horserace channel.

So not worth it....unless you do a lot of home shopping and you like horseracing..

I know the M package is just the same as freeview, and I don't need it as my tv has freeview, but it was just out of curiosity because if you take out the phone and broadband package but get free M tv, it costs less than the equivalent triple deal of M tv, phone and broadband?

I just wasn't sure if you actually got the tv when you had signed up for phone and broadband.
