Praise - Apple store

Hi, last night, being an idiot, I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen very very badly. Stupidly I don't have insurance.

Went into the apple store today and they swapped over my phone with no hassles. I did have to pay £139 but thats down to my own stupidity and it was better than paying £440 to replace it on pay as you go.

The guy was brilliant, made the process almost painless (apart from my bank card squealing "don't use me!"). Although I don't ever hope to have to use this service again, for anyone else who may end up in this situation, the guys in the Apple shop in Glasgow are a great help!

Good for you. I have used the Apple Stores in Kingston-Upon-Thames and central London, and have also been impressed with the levels of service.

I agree that Apple store customer service is excellent.

When buying an iphone at the Trafford Centre, Manchester, although the store was very busy, the assistant couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

The only bugbear was that I had some cash that I wanted to use for the phone, but their policy is cards only.

I've also had a really positive experience in the Glasgow Apple Store. I upgraded my iphone at the same time as my husband and my one was just not working as quick as his. I took it in, they ran a quick diagnostic test and replaced my phone. Really quick and easy.
Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:

Another great experience here at the Trafford Centre.

My MacBook developed the usual case cracking so I called in on the off chance it could be fixed. I need it for Uni so they managed not only to fit me in but fix it in half an hour all for free!

    Brilliant!

I must admit I agree with APPLE having great service!
Used the Apple store for the first time as having problems with my ipod touch.
Booked an appointment with a 'Genius' and they solved my problem in less than 5m.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, swift, no hassles service... was impressed with my 1st time using.
  • Now I'm glad I have the insurance. :)
