Anyone know anything about Consumer Credit Services (CCS) they offer to claim PPI etc

I received a telephone call on my mobile number this morning from a firm called Consumer Credit Services (CCS).
They asked if I had been mis sold PPI, or whether I had credit cards which had received unsolicited increased credit limits.
They offer to claim back PPI and in the case of unsolicited credit limits claim they can sometimes get the entire debt written off.
They ask for a £199 up front fee, refundable if they do not succeed.
This is an attractive idea, but I am suspicious about the upfront payment.
I told them to call me back next week in order to give me chance to check thm out and they readily agreed to this.
Does anyone know anything about them please.

Why don't you do it yourself from template letters on sites like this and then keep the £199.
If you're really feeling generous and grateful for the free help then you could even consider a small charity donation rather than paying these people.

Yes, I had more or less come to this conclusion myself. However, I am more interested in the legitimacy of this organisation as they don't need to sign many people up each day to make a considerable profit
