New Wirless connection

I have just put in a new wireless connection and now i cant seem to access ebay, this is a big deal as Ive got items that have just been sold that i need to get details of.
can anyone tell me what might have happened and how to get back trading asap

What do you mean by a new wireless connection?

You added a new USB/PCI card/dongle?

Or you simply created another network connection?

It's doubtful that either new connection would specifically cause Ebay problems, if theres an internet connection and you've got access then it should be fine as hardware isn't really website/domain specific.

Do you use a firewall such as Zonealarm?
If so, have you allowed the new internet connection *FULL* trusted access?
If not, then you may be blocked by seeing some sites.

Also if it is Zonealarm, then it can occasionally play up with Ebays dynamic page creation over a wireless connection.
(God knows why, but mine really doesn't like it when I want to "revise" an item).


Further more, if you use a router and you've installed a new hardware device have you registered the new MAC address of that specific hardware device in the routers list of 'attatched devices' to allow it full connectivity (or connectivity specifying to pre-existing port rules, etc?)?.
