I was using the SEC as an example of a government org that does pay attention. From my posts this is your focus?0

Thanks Sabre, really helpful resources.
Biancatrends looks especially interesting, exactly the stuff i was looking for. Have you found it useful?
I also noticed Biancatrends has a free programme that tracks shares for you but its no longer available on the website. Know anywhere i could still get it from?
Thanks again.
Bianca is computer generated but its useful for confirmation of my own ideas.
Their chart for VED looks alot like mine which is pretty simple. The best ideas are simple, luckily
Ive not noticied any software to download but they mention iii so try there
The idea of easy tips and certain wins are discussed here to some extent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbitrage0 -
I'm in pretty much the same position as the OP, I read the Naked Trader and would like to get involved but not sure what to do next. DisgruntledGoats comments about it above are spot on.
So what do people here reccomend as a next step after reading NT? Whats the best follow up reading material? Or is it better to just bite the bullet and learn hands on?0 -

Yes, some good ideas and analysis on here:

But be careful with regards to heavily tipped shares on BBs, if they are being plugged left right and centre this will be reflected in the price already...
Though do not discount BB discussions altogether... I bought GKP through a BB discussion when it was 28p....0 -
Try the excellent and very readable How to Make Money Trading by Lex Van Dam which doesn't rely so heavily on an ADVFN subscription!!
I've also found this quite interesting:

Simply type in the stock code, select the index from the dropdown list and the time period and it claims to show breakouts (upward indicated in blue and downward in grey).
Good luck!0 -

Was that iii ?
I saw GKP as risky personally, war torn country with a potential civil war type division between kurd and main government and so on. If they tripled or more its not surprising, nor if they remain volatile in future0 -
The problem with any kind of list is that by the time we, as average punters, see the list, the bloodhounds in real trading rooms will already have pounced! Personally I ignore them but then I'm a buyer and holder rather than a 'trader'.0
