Bose Customer Servive

I ordered a new Bose DAB Radio/CD player end of Dec they give 5/7 working days as delivery times, after about 5 working days I emailed them twice over a couple of days, no response so I called them a lady said that I should get delivery the following week (about the 8/9 Jan). I called them again and was told that something went wrong with my card details and the order had been cancelled. I reordered and asked them to call me if any problems with the card. I called again 14th Jan and was told that there was a hold up with the security vetting card and address but it would be sorted in the next couple of days. I got a letter from Bose on the 14 Jan dated the 8 Jan saying that problems had occurred with my card (first time ever this had happened and I shop on line most of the time). Got my first on line response from Bose saying my radio was on its way should be with me next week.
The problem I have with Bose is that I did all the work and for a big company and a very expensive bit of kit I do not think that is good enough, falling way short of what I usually get from other on line companies. Get your act together Bose.

I bought one for my Mum a couple of years back and found the customer service to be excellent!

I spoke to 3 different customer service staff each one gave me different info the last lady was the first to say that the items all came from Brussels and the 5 to 7 days delivery started when they got the order she said mine would be wed (20th) earliest which is again wrong Brussels was very quick and the item is due Monday. I googled Bose customer service and there are many comments that do not flatter Bose CS, still as long as the music system is good I will forget the stress. By the way the birthday this gift was for (my wifes) was a few days ago, its taken 3 weeks (I hope) to get here.

With pretty much every company, you'll only ever find negative CS reviews online. How many people actually tell anyone when it goes right?
It's the 1:10 ratio we learn about in customer service. A happy customer might tell one person about their experience. An angry customer will tell on average 10 people.0 -
Personally I make a point of telling everyone when I get excdeptional service. Unfortunately it's become a lot more unusual.0

Just an update I got the Bose music system with DAB and I am over the moon with it great sound from such a small bit of kit, its worth the money in my view.0
