Is First Aid a qualifaction or a skill?!?!?!

Well not meaning to be pedantic but...

If it's a qualification it doesn't not become a qualification when it expires, it becomes an expired qualification.

So it's always a qualification, it just so happens to be a qualification that is based around a practical skill.

So it's a bit of both really, but from a CV point of view - definately a qualification

if your first aid certificate is current it is a qualification - we had a family friend who was a ITU nurse and very active with st johns ambulance - but she could only go out with them to local events if her first aid certificate was in date, and she attended updates with them - even though her work gave her more training than thy did.

as a first aider it is actually 3 years
