Refund from TheTrainline
A friend had two small credit card refunds form TheTrainline. This is odd because 1. the amounts are so small and don't seem to relate to any ticket purchases; and 2. ticket purchases are from the local rail operator (which is powered by TheTrainline but shows on the credit card bill as FGW or something similar) not TheTrainline. Attempting to contact TheTrainline got an auto-reply but no real answer. Has anyone else had this happen? What should my friend do next? Contact credit card issuer? Pocket the money as compensation for TheTrainline's incompetence?
