I flew Upper a couple of weeks ago from LGW - MCO and would not have been impressed with PE. I had originally booked PE but had been warned it was not the equivalent to Business Class with other airlines, so I upgraded at the airport.
PE just looked the same as economy to me, but with a couple of inches more legroom. I would honestly recommend getting an extra-legroom economy seat, the price depends on the route I think. Or upgrading into Upper, it's very comfortable.
But to me PE seems a bit of a waste of money.0
