I have decluttered the living room, my bedroom and the bathroom, handwashing stuff and two rooms left to go before i start on the detailed cleaning lists, oh and i have done all my washing (8 loads, dont know how i manged to find clothes to put on! ) and it is currently drying. Though my bf has not really realised what I am doing and is going round behind me taking things out and not putting them back  .Time to have a little word ;) Oh and so far 3 bags of rubbish, one bag for the charity shop and 3 boxes full for the car boot :T

Hello methekidsandthecat...the Flylady challenge is (was for some domestic angels!) a concentrated effort led by Moggins to get our households cleaned, decluttered and organised. It's loosely based on the https://www.flylady.net website. Each individual could decide for themselves how to go about things and to choose their own methods. The challenge thread was a chance to give each other support and encouragement, and a place to seek advice if necessary. It was effective to a point in the SnowyOwl nest with regard to cleanliness and tidiness of the sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and the main boudoir. The rest of the house is still a tip.

Edinburghlass HIYA! For what it's worth after all my nagging and teasing I have been unable to finish the challenge and am in the corner hanging my head in shame. I had a bad week last week, didn't lift a finger. So while certain areas look OK there are other areas which look like a missle or two have been let off. Is your hob still shiny?

Moggins - yes, I am pleased with what I have done, it is a big improvement. But why oh why can't I get on with the paperwork in my little office.

Edinburghlass...yeah I had noticed that Moggins one showing up wherever you went. Are you really really really scared? Let's make it 3.00 am then Moggins'll be back in the land of nod...

Because it seems overwhelming? Because it's just something you don't want to do?

Try just 15 minutes? And then give yourself a nice reward afterwards.
