Going to London for the weekend in March, thought we could do the London Eye on a Sunday morning but I didnt realise how expensive it is. Does anyone know of any promotion codes or discount offers please. As we are going by train I thought we may get a 2 for 1 offer there but no go

It used to be in the Tesco Clubcard deals so try looking there if you have vouchers spare.

Hi everyone,
Has anyone checked out the Merlin Annual pass website lately they have now split the annual passes into Standard £120 (on-line) and premium £200 see details below.
Standard Merlin Annual Pass restrictions (these do not apply to Premium Passes)
Entry is subject to attraction operating calendars and the following exclusions: No entry during the month of August at London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. No entry during Fright Nights at THORPE PARK (£5 entry fee applies). No entry on 14th February at the London Eye. No entry on 31st October at the London Eye and The London Dungeon
Premium Passes
Enjoy 12 months entry to top UK attractions WITH NO RESTRICTIONS other than attraction operating calendars.
Premium passes cost £200 per person
This brings me to my question .... What are Tesco going to do about buying the Merlin annual pass it is £37.50 in clubcard vouchers until (i think) 28th Feb 2010 if is the same as last year?
I remember there was loads of questions about the passes when they introduced Sealife etc. Hopefully we get clubcard vouchers before they decide to change it and apply on-line as vouchers for passes are valid for 6 months (ours run out in March), Has anyone got any ideas?

I would GUESS that the £37:50 voucher would get you a standard pass, which is priced at £150, or £120 on-line, was £75 last week. Hopefully this will stay available, with maybe an option of the Premium Pass for £50 of Clubcard vouchers. However Merlin or Tesco may choose to only offer the Premium pass, or withdraw it altogether. When I collected my annual pass the desk of the AP office had piles of Clubcard vouchers on it so I reckon it is a very popular Clubcard offer and must benefit both both Tesco and Merlin, so in my opinion unlikely to be withdrawn completely.0
