Income Support while Self Employed

Hi
I am a single mum to twins. I am currently thinking about taking a party plan job which means I would be self employed. I won't be earning more then £20 per week. Would I be entitled to claim income support whilst self employed? I currently cannot go back to my full time job after maternity leave as it is over an hour away from my home and they will not let me do part time hours. With this self employed job, I am wanting to gain a little bit extra money and build it up so I can put in more hours when my twins start nursery and come off income support. I have never been on benefits before and don't particually want to now but due to childcare issues etc don't have too much of a choice. However, I was wondering if it is worth my while doing this and if I can still claim income support.
Thanks

IIRC you can earn £20 pw without it affecting your IS. Have you thought about child support? again you get to keep the first £20 of child support without it affecting your IS, so potentially you could be £40 a week better of.*SIGH*
