Refunds on bedroom items?

Hi there everyone,

I was wondering if anyone of you know whether I can get a refund on the pillows.

Four days ago we bought 2 memory pillows - £50.00 each - they were suppose to support your neck etc. - but guess what - they don't.

Obviously we didn't know this when we purchased them - I personally tried one in the store for a few seconds and - well a few seconds isn't the whole night.

Does anyone know whether I can return it and ask for a refund under consumer rights?

I think it's worth to mention that we got them from Bensons For Beds - not sure if it makes any difference as they don't seem to have very good reviews anywhere as I've just found out.

You have no rights to return the items just because you don't get on with them. Most people who buy these memory foam pillows and mattresses say that you need to give it a bit of time to get used to them.

I'm afraid you've only got the retailers goodwill to rely on.

As neilmcl says, 4 days isn't nearly long enough. Took me 2-3 weeks of waking up with a sometimes stiff neck before I got the benefit.
