How do I change the amount I pay on ebay?

I've bid on ebay for 3 separate items from one seller - all 'buy it now' with free p&p.
Before I bid, the seller agreed a reduction in the total price as they'd be posted together.
How do I pay less than the total?
I've asked the seller and he can only generate a total invoice based on the stated price.
He says I simply pay the lower amount we agreed but I can't find a way of changing the total.
Sorry if this has asked before - I've searched in vain for the answer.

ebay wont like it but bypass ebay and pay him via paypal as a payment for goods. he should be able to alter the invoice price before he sends it to you on ebay though0

The op poster never said he would bypass ebay.Dont pay via goods on paypal as it wont be linked to the transaction and you will loose buyer protection. The seller should change the invoice

They need to send you a revised invoice - just check they haven;t already, sometimes when you are sent a new invoice you don't see the difference until you go to pay and then you see the new amount.0

I had this problem as a seller.
If you sell as "buy it now" you dont ever get to send an invoice as the buyer has already paid before you are made aware of the sale.
I tried to find a way to reduce my postage costs for a buyer that wanted to purchase 3 things off me, but I couldnt do it.
I ended up letting them pay in full and then refunding them some cash directly through paypal.
(this meant my buyer had to trust me though)“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

Just to complete the story - I paid the full amount and asked the seller to refund the agreed amount - which he has done. :j
