Right Sammy, snap out of it *slap* has that helped you save yourself?

Pap..think I kind of understand. So you will be following a 1200 cal a day diet for the next week? Do you still have to drink the shakes with that too?

are you thirsty a lot then pap.....

Well yes, I feel thirsty so I just drink. However up till about Christmas I could do around 5/6litres a day when I counted. I knew it was going up after chrsitmas because I could drink a litre in 20min and still be thirsty. Over on thr CD thread we decided to do a 100% week/challenge thing. Well I though why not monitor what I drink/eat etc and wrote it down, well I posted it and thought nothing of it. Until someone pointed out I drank 10litres on Tuesday, Wednesday was about 9 litres so thats when I was badgered to going to the doctors, its all spiralled from then  I am now booked in to see my regular/nice doctor on Thursday, fantatsic :o

Yes 1200cal including the shakes, they are 138cal. So £40 down the drain because I wont lose anything. then Thursday I may be allowed to go back to SS although I dont know yet. I guess it will put be back at least 3 weeks if not more

That is an awful lot of water Pap. I guess they might think you are diabetic if you have that constant thirst. The other thing you have to be careful with drinking that quantity is that you can literally drown your organs, which I am sure the Dr has told you about. I am sure they will get to the bottom of it. It might just be that your body has adapted to the higher than normal intake and so now it needs more?

you never know pap..1200 cals is still less than a normal amount so you may loose a pound or 2

Sally, thats what everyone on the CD thread thought. Thats what I went to the docs for. He asked for a pee test and it was clear in colour, my sugar levels were fine but my ketones were off the scale. He believed the diet was making me drink more and thus causing my ketones to become so high. He said that I could end up with water intoxification and his advice was get off the diet. The problem comes now when I am not off the diet and forcing myself to drink less  Just because I am off the diet dont mean I am not the thirty. If anything I have felt thirstier these last 24 hours than before :wall:

It will take a couple of days though pap for your body to re-adjust. Stick with it but do be careful

thats an awful lot of water! Don't think of it as a waste of £40 pap -when you spread the cost out over however long you have been on CD - thats how you should look at it. It would be a waste if you had cheated but you aren't cheating you are looking after yourself.

I have started on the wine now....am using a glass from a new set we bought last week - but its only small and I keep having to get up to refill my glass. Do you think that counts as exercise.....

Thanks to both of you, I will be very careful, I am just super scared I am going to put it all back on :o Sammy, yes its not that much for what I have achieved, I looked into personal trainers the other day, they are £50 a session, at least CD is cheaper ;)

Ohhh and Sammy, that is certainly classed as excercise, the same as going up the stairs to pee is :rotfl:
