Getting nowhere yet .. help or suggestions

I'll be brief. I have had a JJB (MCard) for some years and it was normal procedure. My family went through and still are going through a most traumatic time and over the last few years I have had great snags paying this card. Last year (Feb / Mar 2009) I set up a DD to pay £50 pcm for a sum owed of £4000. My limit was always £3000 and the £1000 extra is due to 'laser' / 'creation' heaping on charges. When they agreed the £50 payment (12 months ago) I am certain they indicated, on the phone, that they would stop interest and charges. I have now paid the £50 on time for 10 months and family matters took my full concentration so only now I have realised that interest has been added each month and now .. only £3 (Three) from the £50 is used to diminish the amount. I wrote to say 'foul' and also added that on this present situation I have to live until 134 yrs old to pay it off.
The reply was 'tough'
I am now going to write and say that unless they can accomodate my position I will stop the payments and take whatever a judicial / legal route throws up.
I think a Judge may fall on my side if 'laser' / 'creation' go for the judicial / legal route.

You will get a CCJ against you and your credit files trashed for at least the next 6 years.
If you can live without any credit for that time go for it.

I disagree about the judge though!
