PPI on credit cards

Hi,

I find out last year that I was paying for insurance on my credit card. I cancelled it as soon asI realised. But this had been going on for 8 years. I still have the credit card, can I claim the insurance back even though I cancelled it.

Any help will be much appreciated

Hi and welcome again.......:D, glad to see you have posted over here and found your way.
I did not want to confuse matters and post the reclaiming side of things on your other thread you posted, so hope you did not mind me sending you the links.

I would check the link of guidelines of reclaiming, and check the checklist of what may apply to you, and of course if you did not know you were paying this out before you cancelled, it seems they must have added this without your knowledge, so for that reason and for any other you may have I would give it a go.

There are also templates on the link and they have 8 weeks in full to respond, post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting, please ask for help anytime and please also keep us posted, good luck.
