Wedding Shoes - designer ?

I really like the idea of brightly coloured shoes peeping out of the bottom of your dress, I don't think there's any need for white/cream shoes that you won't wear again. When I got engaged my Mum said that she'd pay for some fabulous designer shoes as I've wanted a pair of Christian Louboutins for years and a wedding is a good excuse for amazing shoes... but I'm getting married on a beach so I can only wear flip flops! I'm gutted! I'm going to try to convince her that I still need the fab shoes for my night do!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Opinions please:

For outdoor wedding (at times on grass) in the cold. These are also known for comfort (apparently).
