Hi How much are you girls spending/spent on wedding shoes ? I was thinking £50 to £100 but one of my friends thought I should treat myself to some designer ones. Its seems soo much money for some shoes I will only wear a few times unless they are sandals or something I can wear more. Any tips ideas would be great. Going to look for some at the weekend. Not too high either.
We got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T

My shoes were £70 from Schuh (Irregular Choice)....i loved them immediately....i reckon just look around and get what you like.....i wouldnt be able to jusitfy more than about £100 so that was kind of my budget but it depends what you can afford..... i wouldn't buy "designer" just because they had a label, but thats just me lol!! These are mine by the way http://schuh.co.uk/womens-stone-irregular-choice-cortesan-floral-bar-court/1106011150/Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0

Hello - I'm struggling to find shoes I like. These ones are fab, but my dress is straight and I think the flowers would get caught up in the front & are perhaps too detailed (my dress is beaded all over so I think I need to have fairly simple shoes). Do you think I would be able to take the flowers off or would they looks weird/shabby??
Also - are the comfy? I am rubbish at walking in heels, but I am determined to have comfy feet for my wedding!0 -

Thanks Girls. Bigmomma they are pretty but I couldnt walk in those. I just went on project wedding and saw all these gorgeous malano balhnicks - cant spell it !! But it seems lots of girls have coloured shoes so I am now thinking maybe dont have to be white or cream !! Will try not to spend more than £100 I think though, its not like you can see them much under the long dress. Shopping methinks :jWe got married 17th April 2010 !! i reckon its be ACE to have coloured shoes! I toyed with the idea of having a red and ivory theme JUST so i could have red, glittery "Dorothy" shoes!!!!!!!! Peeping out from under my dress......wow - i still love that!

LOL - i know it is just me but ..... http://www.waweddings.com.au/directory/jonsshoes/images/red_beaded.jpg WOW!

oh i have those irregular choice ones too

i love irregular choice and when i saw those ones i just had to have them for the wedding
they arent as high as they appear and are actually quite comfy (for heels lol)
i love shoes and although there are some fab designer shoes out there I couldnt justify the amount of money that they are
its up to you obviously, but i think you can get fab shoes without spending a fortuneMarried on 5th March 2010still lurking on the wedding board tho :rotfl:0 -
I got some Rainbow Club wedding shoes, in the sale of course :money:
Reduced to £25, they are padded all around the toe area as designed as a 'wear once' shoe and are very comfortable with 2" 'block' style heel so no 'wobbly' moments!
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
if you are looking for the rainbowclub shoes, the shop I got my dress from has loads on sale...as did the other bridal shops I went in
so i would suggest you go round some local bridal shops and see what bargains you can find

I recommend the Rainbow Club shoes - I wore the 'Libby' style as a bridesmaid and will be getting another pair for my big day. They were either 2.5 or 3 inch heels and were the most comfortable heels I have every worn. I danced all night in with no pain!
They cost £60 (full price) and £25 on top to have them dyed to match the dress. Only downside is it rained and they are now stained. However I've going to try dying them black so I can use them again :-)0 -
I want Christian Louboutin shoes

I think you'd be able to justify spending a bit more on them if you could dye them and wear them as normal shoes in the future?0
