what are my rights on fake make up brushes?

I bought a set of 12 Bobbi Brown make up brushes from ebay a few weeks ago. They were advertised as authentic, but when they arrived I was a bit suspicious as the quality didn't seem as good as I was hoping, but decided to use them anyway. I have since looked at a friends brushes which are genuine, and I'm now convinced that mine are fake. I was wondering if I was still entitled to a refund and would have to pay the postage sending them back to Hong Kong.

Take it on the chin and don't be so silly the next time.
Alternatively send them back via signed for tracked method and claim through paypal but if they don't track then good money after bad.0
