Half price seeds & more

Apparently Wyevale began a sale on 4th January (you wouldn't have known from my local branch - no signs oustide at all!).

Seeds are half price - Suttons and T&M - and there were various other offers in store. I understand it operates throughout the whole Wyevale chain.

I found them putting up the sale signs this morning when I popped into my local branch of Wyevale - 50% off the all flower and vegetable seeds (excluding grass seeds) so I treated myself to a couple of Seeds of Italy mixed salad seeds.

There was still a bargain bin of clearance seed packets (mainly herbs) for 10p - these came out at half price too - how could I resist?! These included some T&M so I was able to pick up the free seed promotion offer (free seeds of sweet pea (candy cane) or tomato (harbinger) with any two T&M seed packets purchase).

They don't seem very organised, do they?

I also got the two free packets. Not sure what I'll do with the Harbinger tomatoes, though, as I've more or less standardised on Gardener's Delight these days (they're almost the only raw tomatoes Mrs Badger will eat).

Has anyone tried Harbinger? I'd be interested to know what they're like.

Good question - glad you asked this as I've not heard anything about these and like you wondered whether I'll use them or not...

I am already sorted on the tomato seed front really (GD and Alicante) but thought I might as well pick them up as they were free!
