Did you select the destination from a drop down menu? Bristol and Cardiff are next to each other alphabetically as well as geographically0

Have you looked into some of the B&B's in Cardiff? Also have you looked at all areas of Cardiff and not just the town centre? Public transport in Cardiff isn't bad and you can get a bus from anywhere in Cardiff to the town centre for £1.50 or an all day all busses ticket for £3.0

Which hotel are you booked into in Bristol? There are quite a few which are literally next door to station.0
