Hi just looking for some advice really on how long you should wait for payment / contact for buyer.
Sold an item on Saturday, Invoiced buyer on monday, Sent them a message on yesterday just to ask when payment would be made ect, Not heard anything as of yet
Had a look at there feedback that all seems to be good but noticed they have won auctions, paid for, and had feedback for item sold after mines
I'm happy to give them more time, but would have expected some form of contact just to let me know.

you can now start a non paying bidder, i had to open two on sat morning after giving 5-6 days for the buyer to pay, by lunch time sat they had both paid up!0

Thanks was thinking about it, but thought maybe it was just me being impatient. Kicking my self for not putting payment with 48 hours ect in my listing as I normally do
Main bug is the non contact, personally if I make a purchase and won't be paying for it within 2-3 day, I would contact the seller and tell them when payment will be made. Item sold for over £100 so it's not like a little drop of money
Will give the buyer a few more days, then will 2nd chance offer if nothing by then0 -

You can't ask for payment in 48 hours, or rather you can but if they don't pay there is nothing you can do about it.
Open an NPB on day 4 and close it on day 8 and then relist.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ebay advise you contact your buyer to remind them to pay. If you hear nothing you can inform Ebay after seven days and reclaim your selling fees. Click on "help" in top right hand corner of Ebay page and "help topics" will be displayed. From there select the option that says something like " unpaid item" which tells you what to do. You can also make a second chance offer if someone else was bidding on your item.0

It changed a few months back as per the above posts you can now start the process on day 4 and close it on day 8. You just click 'resolve a problem' and you get two options one of which is 'I have not received payment'.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
