child maintence payments question

after how many payments of child maintence from the father is it classed as regular payments and i would have to inform the benefits people?

When it is regular and i tell them will they stop all my claims (child tax credits , income support & housing benefit) while they re calculate leaving me with no money and no way of paying the rent? if its less than £20 a week it wont affect my benefits , is that true?

He plans on paying £50 a month

Thank you
