This might sound silly but, try pushing the card in and it might just click out. My camera takes a card that is on a spring a click. I push it in until it clicks to put it in and have to push it in again to click it out. If you see what I mean.
It might not be stuck in there at all.
I'd be surpised if you could put it in at all if it was the wrong type, thay are all pretty different.
