Self Assessment Tax Return Help

Hello,

I'm due to submit my self assessment tax return online, only thing is I have never done it before. I had a friend that did mine previously, but he is unable to help me this time. My outgoings and incomings have stayed the same but my wages in my other job from a PLC company (already registered with tax) has gone up. I want to see what my final payment to the HMRC will be, is there a way of checking this before submitting my return? and can I amend it if the final bill doesnt look right? It should be the same as last year (more or less) but if I have done the return incorrectly then I will need to see where I have gone wrong. Is there a tax return calculator that I can use?

Thanks in advance:confused:
