complaint to bank - best way

can anyone tell me the most effective way to complain to your bank?
I am having problems simple getting a credit card statement sent to my new address and it has had serious implications to me and would like to complain about the lack of communication between departments, lying to me and general poor service!
Was going to write to head office but know from previous experience they just get "lost" in the system and don't have any effect... has anyone any tips on the most effective way to be heard?!?

Follow the complaints process as detailed on their website. If that fails go to the Ombudsman0

Agree.
You can't go to the ombusdman until you have exhausted their complaints procedure i.e when you get a "deadlock letter" ie refusing to budge.0 -
Always in writing. Phone calls are an easy way for banks to renege on promises.0

And use recorded delivery.
It's amazing how many financial companies manage to "lose" letters if they are not sent that way.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0
