Mail order item never arrived

Title should be 'online order...'!
Sure this has been covered before but couldn't find a recent post.
I ordered and paid for some plants online (specialist items and there is no close supplier to me), the company informed me by email they had been posted 10 days after me placing the order, but 1 month later they have still not arrived.
Am I entitled to ask the company to send a replacement order, or if they can prove they have posted it do I just have to write it off?

Of course you're "entitled" to ask them for a replacement order - why on Earth would you think for a moment that you wouldn't be? You've bought an item online and for whatever reason you haven't received the item - I honestly can't believe that you're even contemplating "writing it off" - just go "meh, I've paid good money for something and having nothing to show for it...c'est la vie..."
Stop wasting time on here and get in touch with the company with your order details and tell them you haven't recieved the goods and want an order dispatched immediately!

The company are responsible for delivering the product to you.
They have paid someone to do that.
It is for them to chase the delivery company... not you.
You are entitled to receive the ordered goods. Whether the company sends a replacement or finds the original is not your problem (except being plants they may be perishable).
Btw... you can change the title... 'edit', 'go advanced', then amend the title.0
