Dell are giving away a Mini 10 laptop daily until the 19th. Entry is open until 10am the next day, and the new question is posted at 1pm.

To enter -

1. Follow @DellUK on Twitter

2. Tweet the phrase:
“I just followed @DellUK for a chance to win one of 5 Dell Mini 10 netbooks! More info at: http://!!!!!!/Mini10Comp #DellMini10”
(You only need to do this once - not every day)

3. Answer the daily question by sending a tweet using the following phrase:
“Hey @DellUK the answer is [answer]. Find more answers here http://!!!!!!/DellMini10a #DellMini10”

Twitter newbies -

• to follow Dell click the 'follow' button on their Twitter homepage
• to send a Tweet, copy the text given above into the 'What's happening?' box at the top of your twitter homepage and press update.
• anything you send appears on your profile, but so long as you've included the @delluk they'll see it too.
• You won't get any kind of confirmation, but you can check it has sent by clicking on the profile link at the top of your homepage to see the tweets you've sent. Don't send that days answer multiple times unless you're sure it hasn't sent, as T+C state - 6. Only one (1) entry per person/Twitter account and per question is permitted.

Thank you so much for these posts reniannen. I didn't have a clue about Twitter but fingers crossed I have now managed to enter a few comps.

Just a quick question - how do you know if you have won - do they email you or do you have to keep checking your Twitter account?

Also I tweeted this comp before clicking on follow - oops:o do you think I should tweet again? Sorry to be a pain:o

to check your twitter account to see if anyone has mentioned you, ie as a winner then log in and on the righthand column on your home page it will say "@" followed by your name, mine is earthm0mma so mine says @earthm0mma. If you click on that it will show you all tweets that have mentioned your name. sometimes they will send you a DM (Direct Message) and in that case you will get an email notification that you have received a DM and a link to read it. You prob don't need to retweet the message as anything with a # in front of it will show up to them. All this is probably as clear as mud

They usually direct message you, which is basically a private message. I get notified by email when someone sends me a DM. You can check this is set by going to the settings link at the top of your homepage, then clicking the notices tab.
For this comp they must have sent a DM to the first winner, as they didn't ask her to contact them in any way, so you should be ok even if you're not on twitter regularly. I'll try and remember to post up the winner when I change the question.

It won't matter what order you've done it in, just so long as you've done all 3. It's one entry/tweet per person so don't tweet again!

yeah RT is retweet meaning your resending a message someone else has tweeted so your own followers can read it.
