  • hi
    i have now received the details from my win.
    I am not going to use mine, so if anyone wants them you're welcome. The message does state that people attending need to pre-register so full names are required and ID will be required on site.

    Here are the details;
    Congratulations on being one of the lucky winners to receive entrance passes into the SFX Weekender

    By now you should have received your unique booking reference.

    The tickets that you have won will give you access on the Friday and the Saturday from 12 midday to 12 midnight.
    Anyone that isn’t resident onsite for the weekend will need to leave the site by midnight due to bar license regulations

    To collect your daily passes, please come along to check-in on Friday 5th Feb 2010 with your booking reference and photo ID – where we will then issue your entrance wristbands.

    In the meantime – we need to get everyone attending the event to pre-register, by Monday 19th January 2010 otherwise the tickets will be cancelled.

    If you require us to book onsite accommodation then please contact us, we have reduced rates on accommodation for you all prize winners for just £50 per person for the full weekend. Accommodation on site is extremely limited – and is available on a first come first serve basis

    In addition – if you require a signing pass, these are also being offered to prize winners at the reduced rate of £20 per person. A signing pass will give you entry to meet the stars and get their autographs.

    The first fan event of its kind in the UK, the SFX Weekender promises the ultimate sci-fi experience, packed with activities for fans: big-name guests, interviews, Q&A sessions, comic workshops, videogaming, music, book readings and plenty more at one of the UK's best-loved holiday camps. It's all about bringing like-minded people together for a weekend structured around four huge pillar events: the enchanting Imaginarium funfair, the sweeping Maskerade party, the fiendish Blastermind quiz and the epic SFX Sci-fi Awards show 2010; where we'll be handing out our coveted Golden Rayguns to the universe's best and brightest.
    With a full line-up to be announced over coming months, sci-fi legend James Marsters (Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Smallville and Torchwood) is already signed up to appear at the SFX Weekender. Also confirmed are novelists China Mi!ville and Robert Rankin and Doctor Who/Primeval scriptwriter Paul Cornell. Exhibitors and supporters include Manga, Forbidden Planet International, Tor, Gollancz, Diamond Comics Distribution and 2000AD.
    SFX Weekender attendees will get the chance to fully immerse themselves in the sci-fi culture which has made SFX Europe's bestselling genre magazine and leading website. Fans can get themselves written into a comic strip, get into discussion with their favourite author, chill out at the anime caf!, get digital art tips, or be amongst the first to see exclusive screenings of films and TV shows.
