Credit Issues/Challenge Your

Hi, in October 2008 I entered a deal with 'Credit Issues' in orer for them to attempt to get my Egg loan written off or reduced or some PPi refunded due to the mis-sold 'rule'. I have struggled to get any communication from Credit Issues over the last year and finally, last November I received a letter which said that they had tried, but failed to get any money from Egg. So, as I had paid them £450.00 I asked for the refund of £400.00 to be sent to me (they got to keep £50 for admin fees!) and they agreed. then I had a call from someone at 'Challenge Your' who said that my details had been passed to them from Credit Issues and they would take over my case as they had experience in getting PPi refunded? So, as I didn't have to pay them unless they were successful, I agreed! and hey presto, within weeks I had a cheque from Egg repaying some of my PPI. I then sent a cheque to Challenge Your for 25% and job done. BUT, Credit Issues still haven't refunded my £400.00 and are now saying that they want to continue with my case, even though Egg have said no as they 'feel' that Egg are starting to move on refunds?! I have specifically told them that I don't want them to continue and that I would like my money returned and they replied saying that the contract I had signed with them meant they could continue and no refund would be due. Is that correct?! I have asked them to stop and they are ignoring my wishes?!

Hi and welcome.;)
I would be wary of these claims companies, and try to have a go yourself with just the cost of posting your letter, and help from this site with templates, check this link here of guidelines of reclaiming:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
You can ask for help as well anytime.
In regards of that company, contact the Minstry of Justice, and get some advice from these:
http://www.justice.gov.uk/contactus.htm
Fingers crossed for you, hope you get your money back soon, but do let the above MOJ your situation with the above claims company.
Please keep us posted, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

From what you have posted its most probably cause of the reopening of cases that the FSA have asked firms to do.
