Of course - you'd need the travelcard bit as well, what about Upminster or somewhere with a tube?

what about Medway in Kent? You can get the Kings Ferry coach service into London £2475 pa (not sure what an annual flyer ticket is at £1900?). http://www.thekingsferry.co.uk/commuter-services/fares/

Huge variety of properties from cheapy terraced houses in Chatham to big posh houses in Wigmore and Rainham.

Just to add to KeithP's post.

IF you are riding a bike on a CBT you are a learner and are therefore not allowed to ride on the motorway. If you have a proper bike license you can ride anything over 50cc on the M/Way.

    Hope that helps :D

I think if i were to get a bike i would like to have the proper licence and lessons etc, just another cost to add to the list. However it all helps in narrowing the search area.

  • Bikes are great in the Spring/Summer but during the Autumn/Winter not as much fun, if you do go for a moped then make sure that you get some descent waterproofs and some warm underclothing.
