Additional automatic Cold Weather payments for elderly
Can anybody tell me if the government's automatic £25 payments for cold weather have been triggered as a result of the recent freezing temperatures.
I believe there are certain criteria for these, both in terms of how long the temperature remains below a certain point, and who gets them.
Am trying to find out this information for an elderly person but don't know where to look.

They do need to be on some form of means tested benefit, it is not just doled out to all over 65Numerus non sum0 -
