cant change my Pc monitor from 256 colour

Have tried changing my monitor colour but it wont let me change it, it was originally in a hi colour setting I turned the computer off and think I have changed something inthe start up settings but am not sure can anyone help me please?

ok, from the desktop, right click and then click display properties, you should then have a few tabs, search through them, one will give you colour and aspect ratioFrancis Pybis

It only has one option and that is medium 16 bit. It didnt use to be like this!0

then you need to remove and reinstall the graphics card drivers, if this doesnt work then you need to buy a new one, sometimes they just failFrancis Pybis

have you run windows update recently?0

not usually if it has worked previous, however, you can write down the name of your graphics card from the systems menu, and download the driverFrancis Pybis
