Advice Please! Barclays havn't paid up!

Hi, could someone advise me on what to do next.

I have attempted to reclaim the PPI on a loan taken out with Barclays. I referred it to the Financial Ombudman who upheld my complaint and ordered Barclays to pay the PPI back to me (with interest etc etc) This was at the end of October and Barclays still havn't paid or recalculated my loan (so I am still paying the PPI)

They sent me a letter at the beginning of December saying someone would be in touch by the 24th. They never were. I called them but no one could help.

I'm getting frustrated now as i am owed about £6k. Should I go to a solicitor?

Hi, I would get back in touch with your adjudicator and ask them to intervene perhaps.

Hi There I have had the same problem. FOS have a nominated person who is liaising with Barclays because of the number of unpaid settlements. Mine has been over three months now. Last week ours was given URGENT status and they still have not paid. Am sure I will be told that it is the snow that is delaying things although I do notice that their letters concerning going over overdrft limits seem to have gone out on time.
