TR1 form requested months after completion

Hi,
I sold my studio flat to a "sell your property fast" company (House Quick Sell) back in September last year. My mortgage was paid off with the proceeds, and I have not had any dealings concerning the property since.
Today, my solicitor has sent through a request for me to sign a TR1 Land Registry transfer form. This is nearly three months since I sold the property, so I am concered about why they are asking for this now. When I queried it, the solicitor's secretary told me that "the other side lost the form".
Am I obliged to do anything about this? Should I? It all seems a bit fishy to me, but maybe I'm being paranoid. Would be keen to hear from anyone who knows more or who has experienced anything similar.
Thanks,
C.

I don't think there is anything 'fishy' going on. The purchasers need the form to transfer the Land Register title to their name. As long as it has the correct property details on, I would sign it and return it.I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?
