Need some advise, if i had a 12 month warrenty and with in that 12 months the item goes faulty and is replaced does the 12 month warrenty start again?

No - the Warranty will run for a year from the original purchase date, however you still have rights as regards the item being fit for purpose beyond that, up to whatever would be expected for its useful life.0

It all depends on the manufacturer. Samsung will offer a full warranty with a replacement, but most others don't.0 -
Apple for example will give you 90 days I think.0

If you do it through the retailer then they'll normally give you another receipt if they replace it, giving you another 12 months..0
